We believe that no one understands how a couple wants to be photographed better than another couple, that is why we are a husband and wife team, while Scott is candidly capturing the groom and his groomsmen, shannon is photographing the bride and her bridesmaids.  We understand that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. Your day will be documented in a stylish mix of photojournalistic to traditional photography.  At Dragonfly we will be forever "Keeping the magic alive, one image at a time."

Shannon & Scott Mackay are Destination Wedding Photographers based out of Wilmington NC. We cover a wide gamout of style from photojournalistic to traditional.  People are quickly at ease with us which helps your day flow smoothly as we are able to do our job quickly and efficiantly.  We also help with other unexpected emergencies that might happen often without the bride or groom ever knowing that we have fixed dresses, pinned on or fixed flowers, taken care of family members, cut cakes etc...  Shannon and Scott have even become ordained Reverands so if there is a problem in that department we can step in and take care of that as well!  We have seen it all and will be there to help your day to be all that you have dreamed of.  We have made many life long friends in the wedding industry and are looking forward to meeting you and adding to our long list of friends

Yes i got the email, i loved your work, it was amazing! The other day i just got the DVD of my parents stuff it was so good! I was crying, again! I sent my mom some of the pictures, shes still in Hawaii on the honeymoon and will be back tomorrow, and she was so happy! We LOVED Shannon! I'm so glad we were able to spend our wedding day with her. I've been in a ton of weddings, and the photographers were a drag, but not our photographer. Oh, we were so pleased. Compliments to Shannon and her husband. They were so nice and fun the whole night, and they stayed forever. I never expected them to hang in as long as they did.
